Musical partners, "The Big A" and Hi-C", grew up in Brooklyn, New York during the 1970s. After a brief rivalry, they joined together to revolutionize music completely. Most of their popular works are from the 1980s, however they experimented with their sound a great deal in the '70s. They were well known for their stage outfits which were typically full leather, some described them as "flamboyant"
